Working as Field Service Engineer to execute the installation testing and commissioning activities at customer site or the company projects related to the HV products, including third party HV products if applicable and authorized by the company management.

How you’ll make an impact
- Active participation in site activities and visiting the customer site for Installation testing and commissioning of the company HV GIS, GCB, LTB, DTB, and other equipment as and when required or assigned by the line manager.
- Coordinate/interface with tools management department and take care of HV tools, arrange and properly use the company HV test equipment and tools to execute site activities for HV Products installation, testing and commissioning, protection, and control.
- Complete GIS installation and GIS compartment assembly work, minor fabrications if required, trouble shooting and rectification of HV products defect workable at customer site and advise the action plan if the repair work needs to be carried out in the company factory or workshop.
- Learn and perform the test equipment operation used for HV product testing and maintenance work at site, customer premises or the company workplace. Learn how to use tools used for HV products service jobs.
- Work with Project Management team on various projects as and when required with full compliance of PM requirement and maintain discipline advised by the PM or customer site regulations.
- Lead the contractor or sub-contractor during job execution and coordinate with customer and back-office support for any resource requirements to complete the job. Get the PAC or time sheets signed by the customer after completion of assigned task that can be used to invoice the customer.
- Prepare and provide site reports, activity plans, and resource requirements and share them with the PM, line manager or supervisor.
- Follow the company rules and regulations, display good behavior at office and at site, any safety or integrity incident should be reported to line manager, supervisor or project Manager. Implement value in day-to-day activity or task.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly time sheet, expanse report as per company guideline in a timely manner, prepare travel authorization prior to start the traveling for site or deployment.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
- Previous experience of 3-4 years in high voltage products, electrical equipment, switchgears, HV switchgear protection and control, monitoring and measuring devices, industries or utilities companies.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written in English & Arabic language is required.
