Key Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in site activities and visit customer sites for the installation, testing, and commissioning of transformers and other equipment as assigned by the line manager.
- Interface with tools management, ensuring proper use of the company PGSV test equipment to execute site activities for installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Complete transformer installation and compartment assembly work, perform troubleshooting and rectification of the company product defects, and advise on action plans for repairs.
- Support PGSV Service work activities at the site or customer workplace.
- Learn and operate test equipment used for transformer product testing and maintenance.
- Collaborate with the Project Management team on various projects in compliance with PM requirements and site regulations.
- Lead contractors or subcontractors during job execution, coordinating with customers and back-office support for resource requirements.
- Prepare site reports, activity plans, and resource requirements, sharing them with the PM or supervisor.
- Follow company rules and regulations, report safety or integrity incidents, and implement value in day-to-day tasks.
- Submit weekly and monthly time sheets and expense reports promptly, and prepare travel authorizations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Uphold the company’s core values of safety and integrity.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
- Previous experience of 3-4 years in transformer and OLTC products, electrical equipment, and monitoring devices is essential.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic is required.
