Responsibilities
- Active participation in site activities and visiting the customer site for installation, testing, and commissioning of the company HV GIS, GCB, LTB, DTB, and other equipment as required or assigned by the line manager.
- Coordinate with the tools management department and manage HV tools, arranging and properly using the company HV test equipment and tools to execute site activities for HV product installation, testing, commissioning, protection, and control.
- Complete GIS installation and compartment assembly work, minor fabrications if required, troubleshooting and rectification of HV product defects at the customer site, and advising on action plans if repair work needs to be carried out in the company factory or workshop.
- Learn and operate test equipment used for HV product testing and maintenance at customer premises or the company workplaces.
- Work with the Project Management team on various projects, maintaining compliance with PM requirements and discipline advised by the PM or customer site regulations.
- Lead contractors or sub-contractors during job execution and coordinate with customers and back-office support for any resource requirements to complete the job.
- Prepare and provide site reports, activity plans, and resource requirements, sharing them with the PM, line manager, or supervisor.
- Follow company rules and regulations, displaying good behavior at the office and site; report any safety or integrity incidents to the line manager, supervisor, or project manager.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly timesheets and expense reports per company guidelines in a timely manner, and prepare travel authorization prior to traveling for site or deployment.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
- Previous experience of 3-4 years in high voltage products, electrical equipment, switchgears, HV switchgear protection and control, and monitoring and measuring devices in industries or utilities companies.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic is required.
