Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in site activities and visit customer sites for the installation, testing, and commissioning of HV GIS, GCB, LTB, DTB, and other equipment as assigned.
  • Coordinate with the tools management department, take care of HV tools, and use the company HV test equipment to execute site activities.
  • Complete GIS installation and compartment assembly work, conduct troubleshooting and rectification of HV product defects, and advise action plans for repairs if necessary.
  • Support PGHV Service work activities at site or customer workplaces.
  • Learn and perform operations of test equipment used for HV product testing and maintenance at sites or workplaces.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management team on various projects ensuring compliance with project requirements and site regulations.
  • Lead contractors or sub-contractors during job execution and coordinate with customers and back-office for resource requirements.
  • Prepare and provide site reports, activity plans, and resource requirements to the project manager or supervisor.
  • Follow company rules and regulations and report any safety or integrity incidents.
  • Submit weekly and monthly timesheets and expense reports as per company guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • 3-4 years of previous experience related to high voltage products and electrical equipment, such as switchgears, HV switchgear protection and control, and monitoring devices.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic is required.
