Scope and Purpose:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will provide onsite technical support for Banknote Processing Systems at customer locations. Your role will include ensuring high-quality service delivery while building strong relationships with customer operational teams through your technical expertise and reliability. Responsibilities will encompass maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of mechanical and electronic components, including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Banknote Processing Systems and peripheral equipment.
- Install and commission products according to project requirements.
- Provide technical support to customers via telephone for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Document service activities and spare parts usage in line with policies.
- Manage spare parts inventory, including ordering and replenishment.
- Deliver first and second-level support by analyzing customer inquiries and reported issues.
- Escalate complex technical problems to third-level support when necessary.
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding service requests and progress.
- Conduct in-house and on-site training sessions for users as required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of full-time experience as a Field Service Engineer.
- Strong practical skills with a hands-on approach to electromechanical systems.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and measurement instruments.
- Excellent technical understanding and ability to work independently under pressure with great attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to quality and safety standards, with proven ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams; familiarity with basic mechanics, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as needed.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Saudi national is mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
