Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support GEV engineer for preparation Signal List from Schematics and other applicable documents.
- Handle engineering and field service works for Protection Relays, Panels modification, protection logic diagram, GA/LA, Bill of Materials, Purchasing requests, Protection/SCMS/LCC Schematics, SCMS/Cyber Security Architectures, SCMS Signal list, Cable Schedule, Control Desk Drawing, IEC61850 signal mapping, etc.
- Manage all Production documents (Wiring Table/Label list/Cable Schedule/Interpanel wiring files), CT/VT Adequacy check, Relay setting calculations.
- Assist GEV engineer for Field Services activity of the Substation Automation Systems including DCS/SCS, RTU, and Cyber security.
- Support all technical activities for assigned projects (EHS coordination and follow up, Site works).
- Coordinate and record tests for digital inputs, controls, measurements, interlocks, IEC61850 IED’s, SCADA signals, and SCS functionalities.
- Support the installation of the SCS system at the site (Fiber optic layout, PC installation at panels, SCS consoles wiring, installation, and testing).
- Follow the project planning to ensure timely achievement of project milestones as per project schedule.
- Coordinate workplace EHS issues and ensure the availability of suitable PPE for T&C personnel, both internal and subcontracted.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Machine Power, Electrical Power, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Control and instrumentation, Energy Engineering, Renewable energy, Electronics, cybersecurity, or/ and Artificial Intelligence, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- In line with the localization requirements of UAE, preference will be given to qualified UAE National talents.
- UAE Nationals holding a Family Book are encouraged to apply.
