Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in site activities and visit customer sites for the installation, testing, and commissioning of transformers and other equipment as assigned by the line manager.
  • Coordinate with the tools management department and manage transformers tools, ensuring proper use of the company PGSV test equipment for site activities.
  • Complete transformer installation and compartment assembly work, conduct minor fabrications, troubleshoot defects at customer sites, and propose repair plans if necessary.
  • Support PGSV Service work activities at site or customer locations.
  • Learn and perform operations of test equipment for transformer product testing and maintenance at various locations.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management team on projects, ensuring compliance with PM requirements and site regulations.
  • Lead contractors or subcontractors during job execution and communicate resource needs to customers and back-office support.
  • Prepare site reports, activity plans, and resource requirements, and share them with the PM or line manager.
  • Adhere to company rules and regulations, report any safety or integrity incidents appropriately, and implement value in daily activities.
  • Submit weekly and monthly timesheets and expense reports in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Uphold the company’s core values of safety and integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • 3-4 years of experience in Transformer and OLTC products, electrical equipment, and associated monitoring devices.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English & Arabic.
