Finacle Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer specializing in Finacle Automation Testing. The ideal candidate will have experience with Core Banking applications, specifically Finacle 11.x, as well as with Selenium Automation for API testing. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing automation test suites using Playwright/Selenium, preferably with a BDD approach.
• Conducting loans testing within the Finacle application, including an understanding of Islamic banking loans and finances.
• Creating, executing, and analyzing test scripts.
• Applying continuous integration practices to enable continuous deployment.
• Working on projects using Agile/SCRUM methodologies to manage test cycles effectively.
• Reviewing test requirements to produce realistic test estimates.
• Performing both functional and non-functional automation testing, including checks of messaging queues and databases.
• Reporting status updates to stakeholders regarding QA/Automation activities, risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
• Producing Test Completion Reports at the end of each cycle.
• Having a basic understanding of banking knowledge to validate accounting entries.

Requirements:

• Proficient in automation testing, with a solid background in Finacle applications.
• Strong scripting skills and experience with Automation testing tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Basic banking knowledge is preferred.
