About the Job
The Microsoft (MS) Saudi & Kuwait Compliance Manager is part of the CEMA Compliance Finance team. This role reports to the Middle East & Africa Compliance Lead and partners closely with the Saudi and Kuwait Country Managers, CFO, CELA, and other leadership team members to help them achieve their goals while ensuring adherence to company policies and risk mitigation. The position also provides compliance support to smaller countries in the Middle East such as Oman and Bahrain.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing overall finance compliance support
  • Advising on sales deal execution
  • Proactively managing risk
  • Establishing a stronger culture of compliance by ensuring strict adherence to company policies
  • Implementing the company’s compliance framework
  • Executing compliance rhythms and processes in a timely manner
  • Influencing leadership and business compliance champions to foster a strong culture of trust across the organization

Qualifications
Minimum required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance or a similar field, or a master's degree/MBA
  • Extensive experience in finance with sound experience in financial compliance or equivalent experience
  • Business-level fluency to read, write, and speak English

Additional or preferred qualifications:

  • Business-level fluency to read and speak Arabic
  • CIA / CMA / CIA Certification

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and monitor compliance committee activities
  • Support subsidiary compliance committees for proper execution of business-led compliance rhythm
  • Influence the right compliance culture and tone
  • Assist sub leadership teams to navigate through compliance resources
  • Ensure employees feel safe to speak up and are held accountable for ethical behavior
  • Define the framework for tests and make adjustments as needed
  • Review Sales Deal Execution (SDE) risks and issues to recommend and implement appropriate controls
  • Seek support from Subject Matter Experts (SME) for guidance and escalation
  • Leverage available training to help business stakeholders understand compliance policies
  • Help implement new compliance policies and processes locally
