The company is seeking a Financial Data Analytics and Control professional for the MESEA region. This role is primarily responsible for analyzing and presenting financial information, budget and forecast preparation, sales controlling, cost center controlling, and providing support for financial and sales data warehouses. The position serves as the core analytical engine for the team and the owner of several financial control and analytics tools. Key responsibilities include querying data, building interactive reports, ensuring data integrity, and deriving actionable insights to support daily and monthly financial and business operations.

Main purpose of this job:

  • Analyzing and presenting financial information for the region.
  • Coordinating the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and service operations costing updates.
  • Maintaining and developing analytics and financial control tools, including sales and financial databases.
  • Engaging in regular analysis of business performance and variances in the MESEA region, including cost analysis and maintenance of cost allocation.
  • Responding to ad hoc requests from business units and other users of financial data.
  • Contributing to monthly and year-end closings and ensuring a second level of quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
  • Providing quarterly and year-end local data for corporate management and extracting, cleaning, and transforming financial data from various internal systems and databases.
  • Building, maintaining, and optimizing self-service dashboards for finance stakeholders while resolving data mapping issues.
  • Collaborating with IT and data engineering teams to resolve data quality issues and improve data pipelines.
  • Acting as a data ambassador to support data literacy and help stakeholders self-serve.
  • Continuously improving business processes and financial performance measurement (KPI).
  • Delivering outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.

Your background

  • BA, preferably a master’s degree.
  • Technical proficiency in managing databases, data analytics tools, and some programming.
  • Knowledge and experience with databases and analytical processes.
  • Strong understanding of financial data flows and processes in business.
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments under strict deadlines while ensuring high data quality.
  • Business acumen and excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service and support.
