Finance Manager

About the Role
This role will support the Head of Finance with the financial control, reporting, and governance of a DFSA-authorised financial services entity.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the month-end close, general ledger maintenance, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare applicable UAE tax submissions, including Corporate Tax and VAT.
• Coordinate external audit requirements and respond to audit queries.
• Prepare statutory and applicable DFSA regulatory reports, ensuring figures reconcile to the accounting records.
• Prepare internal management reports and explain material variances.
• Assist in developing and maintaining finance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Provide FP&A support to the Head of Finance with budgeting and forecasts, as required.

Experience and Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience; financial services experience is preferred.
• DFSA-regulated firm experience is an advantage.
• Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification is preferred.
• Good knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and finance controls.
• UAE tax and financial systems experience is an advantage.
