About the Role
The Finance Manager collaborates closely with the Finance and Client Facing organization, providing essential financial business support. This role involves overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while managing financial risks, modelling, and reviewing client deals and business cases. The Finance Manager will support the delivery of the Budget, Forecast, and Multi-Year Growth Plans, driving efficiencies, as well as structuring and approving client deals. This position reports to the KBO Head of Finance and supports business priorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman (KBO).

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management:
- Produce key business drivers (e.g., volumes, transactions) for strategic planning, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting.
- Analyze volume trends and product mix (International vs. Domestic).
- Identify development areas in designated markets and support market development strategy financially.
- Assist in pricing and interchange discussions, including impacts on client profitability.
- Manage ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, and yearly analysis of Market and Client trends for internal departments and GCMs.
- Support revenue management and investment decision-making.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to exceed internal customers' expectations.
Incentives and Contracts:
- Responsible for deal modelling for clients, ensuring compliance with business needs and internal governance.
- Review incentive deal proposals with geo/functional teams, providing feedback to optimize risk-adjusted returns.
- Track and analyze executed deals' performance in the covered markets.
- Provide financial analysis for forecasting contra-revenues and challenge sales teams for realistic projections.
- Conduct deal reforecasting monthly/quarterly during the budget process.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Legal, Client Contract Management, Controlling) to ensure efficient execution of GCC client incentive contracts while adhering to compliance requirements.
Expense Management:
- Proactively manage cross-functional and geography expense planning. Provide financial leadership during forecast and budget processes, tracking performance and understanding variances.
- Advise cost center managers on approved budgets and forecasts, ensuring adherence to budget commitments.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance customer satisfaction and promote a professional finance organization.
- Implement strategies to prevent and resolve bad debts.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure deals and approval-to-spend requests are captured, recorded, and reported in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Guarantee data integrity and consistency; organize documentation of all financial assumptions, results, and data sources.
- Provide guidance to business partners regarding their approved budgets and forecasts, encouraging commitment to fiscal responsibilities.
Location and Work Environment
The company requires at least 3 days in the office; expectations for in-office days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
Professional:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, accounting, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in finance.
- A degree in Accounting or a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) is preferred.
Technical:
- Expertise in financial analysis and modelling in complex scenarios.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills, capable of resolving complex business problems with structured analyses.
- Proven expertise in modelling techniques and managing large data sets.
- Attention to detail, organization, and focus on output quality.
- Fluent in written and spoken business English; proficiency in local languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with the cards business and revenue streams is advantageous.
