ABOUT THE ROLE
The Finance Operations Controller will join the Finance team in Dubai, partnering closely with various Maisons to support strong financial controls and operational excellence across their retail operations. Acting as a trusted business partner, this role will work collaboratively with Maison and boutique teams to strengthen compliance, improve processes, and build understanding of retail finance operations. Additionally, the position offers broad exposure to business analysis and key projects, including boutique openings, e-commerce, SAP implementation, and new Maison integrations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a key Finance Operations partner to Maisons, providing guidance on compliance, controls, and day-to-day boutique operations.
- Support boutique teams in strengthening their understanding of processes and procedures through regular training and knowledge sharing.
- Perform internal control reviews, compliance assessments, and boutique audits, following up on identified actions.
- Support inventory controls, stock takes, consignment reviews, and other key retail finance processes.
- Prepare sales analysis, retail KPIs, and ad-hoc business reporting for Maisons.
- Support new boutique openings, closures, and key operational activities, ensuring the appropriate processes, tools, and controls are in place.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of retail processes, procedures, controls, and systems.
- Coordinate and support Finance-related projects, including e-commerce, SAP implementation, new Maison integration, and internal/external audits.
PROFILE & EXPERIENCE
- Relevant experience within Finance Operations.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and operational processes.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret business performance and prepare meaningful reports.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to partner with Finance, Maison, and boutique teams.
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience within retail, luxury, or a multi-brand environment would be advantageous.
- Comfortable supporting cross-functional projects and operational change.
