About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for accounting and reporting for a number of legal entities in scope of the company. On a monthly basis, you will oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring quality and timely reporting of financial results, reconciling accounts, and performing key controls. Your tasks may also include preparing monthly payrolls for the company’s employees. Annually, you will support the preparation of local financial statements and coordinate with auditors.

You will also handle finance activities within the Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Purchase-to-Pay (PTP) domains:

OTC Responsibilities:
- Handling bank statement postings and allocation of incoming payments
- Managing customer refunds and reconciliations
- Securing the company's cash flow by taking ownership of collection activities, aging reporting, and bad debt handling
- Liaising with key customers, analyzing project POs and contracts, and monitoring agreed settlements
- Sending invoices and following up with customers, including revisiting and reminding while keeping records of the collection process

PTP Responsibilities:
- Handling purchase invoice processing and payments
- Managing query and escalation handling, AP maintenance, and month-end closing activities including accruals and reconciliations
- Supporting vendor master data maintenance and local travel & expense processes including claims processing, credit card, and corporate travel account administration
- Ensuring that master data for vendors, customers, and employees is accurate and up-to-date in financial systems
You will be supported by other members of the finance team and will collaborate closely with business stakeholders as well as other internal teams. Strong Excel skills are essential, along with a proactive approach to optimizing finance systems and continuously seeking improvement in daily activities. You will play a key role in enhancing local accounting and reporting processes, adapting quickly to new procedures and tools, resolving issues efficiently, and engaging in various finance development projects.
What You'll Do

What You Have
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor degree or similar, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance
- Preferably two years of experience in an accounting & payroll role
- Good knowledge of local GAAP and tax; basic IFRS knowledge is considered a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in English; proficiency in local language (Arabic) is advantageous
- Strong analytical and data optimization skills
- Proactive, customer-driven continuous improvement mindset
- Independent and proactive work style with strong teamwork abilities
- Digitally savvy with experience in finance systems
