About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records by checking figures, postings, and documents. You'll organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in alignment with the company's policies and procedures. Your tasks will also include recording, storing, accessing, and analyzing computerized financial information. Additionally, you'll classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and maintain financial records using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
You will prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute various reports including statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables. You'll handle period-end closing procedures and reports as specified, and will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, reconciling, and issuing bills, invoices, and account statements as per company procedures. Your role will also involve following up and resolving past-due accounts and vendor invoices until payment in full is received or resolved.
You'll coordinate tasks and collaborate with other departments while serving as a departmental role model or mentor. It will be your responsibility to assign work tasks and ensure they are completed on time and meet the appropriate quality standards. In this capacity, you are required to report any work-related accidents or injuries immediately upon occurrence to your manager or supervisor. You will follow all company policies and procedures, ensure a clean and professional appearance, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Effective communication will be essential as you'll need to speak clearly and professionally, prepare and review written documents accurately, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. You'll have the opportunity to develop and maintain positive working relationships, support your team to achieve common goals, and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Physical tasks include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. You will also perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required
  • License or Certification: None required
