Finance Systems Analyst

About the Role

The Aderant Finance Systems Analyst reports within an established Finance Systems team structure and will provide operational 3rd line support and ongoing development of the global Financial Applications Systems and the surrounding interfaces. Joining at a time of major new developments, product implementations and the introduction of emergent technology is a pivotal time for the organization as well as for the individual joining.

Specifically, the Finance Systems Analyst will contribute towards the development of the company's financial systems products according to supplied design and direction, while developing their own skills for further advancement. Primary responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with your team to define and estimate user stories and tasks
• Delivering clean, maintainable and scalable solutions
• Acting as a subject matter expert in assigned modules, applications, and integrations
• Conforming to secure coding/configuration standards, documentation requirements, unit testing, and adherence to the CI and CD pipeline processes
• Proactively identifying system enhancements that will maintain reliability and improve performance
• Monitoring and responding to support requests/issues escalated to third line
• Being accountable for meeting core service-related KPIs and metrics to meet customer service levels and expectations
• Reducing escalation of issues through documentation and knowledge handover
• Ensuring customer service levels and expectations are met
• Working with the Product Operations team to manage escalated tickets to successful resolution
• Proactively developing their own knowledge base and skill sets supported by the organization
• Assisting with any other duties/projects that may be assigned from time to time

What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:

• A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Technical mindset with strong knowledge of Financial Applications, ERP systems and understanding of the financial processes they support
• 3+ years of working in a similar role with Aderant Expert: Expert Classic (including Generic Importer/Scheduler, Alerts, Docudraft & Reports) and all components comprising the Aderant Framework; including but not limited to Expert Rates, Security Manager and Expert Administration
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, compare data, investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service and interact in a professional manner with various functions and levels within the organization
• Knowledge of development methods, SQL and C# at a high level of competency
• Expertise in Web and RESTful API consumption and integration
• Expertise in Agile methodologies
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision while preserving strict confidentiality of all information

Additional Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of task management in Azure Dev Ops
• Migration/transformational to cloud systems experience
• Experience using source/version control software
• Knowledge of working in the Legal or Financial Services industries
• Knowledge of ancillary applications such as SAP Concur, BigHand Iridium or CreditForce
• Background in accountancy with appropriate qualifications (ACCA/CPA)
