Financial Operations Analyst

At the company, the Financial Operations Analyst is responsible for examining the financial operations and recommending actions to increase profit margins.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and correct customer tax data
• Prepare, review, and verify customer data for tax invoices and compliance
• Answer questions, resolve issues, and track discrepancies regarding tax invoices and credit notes
• Prepare and perform analysis reports upon request
• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data of financial transactions
• Verify payment and document processes to ensure the payment amount is accurate
• Assist with pre-forming analysis of data, including the development of standard metrics and trend management
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting schedules
• Work with various departments to understand the main drivers of variance from the budget
• Support management reporting related to operations performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Identify, perform, and drive process improvement opportunities in the month-end close process
• Prepare, consolidate, review, and present cost analysis on a monthly basis to finance and operations leadership teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent fields
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools and computerized ledger systems
• Fluent in English and Arabic
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred
