Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's financial technology strategy in alignment with business growth, digital transformation, and customer experience objectives.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable fintech solutions to support high-volume transactions across customers, merchants, riders, and internal finance operations.
- Drive innovation in payment systems, digital wallets, refunds, settlements, and reconciliation processes to ensure speed, accuracy, and reliability.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, and Finance teams to embed fintech solutions seamlessly into the company's platform and operational workflows.
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi regulatory requirements (SAMA, ZATCA, VAT, data protection) and the company's group policies, while proactively managing fintech-related risks and controls.
- Oversee fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and cybersecurity measures related to financial systems and digital payments.
- Own and manage the fintech budget, ensuring cost efficiency, ROI optimization, and sustainable investment in new technologies and partnerships.
- Analyze financial and transaction data to identify trends, revenue opportunities, cost optimization areas, and system performance improvements.
- Prepare executive-level financial technology reports and dashboards, providing insights on transaction performance, risk exposure, and innovation impact.
- Lead and develop a high-performing fintech team, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement in line with the company's leadership principles.
- Stay ahead of emerging fintech trends (open banking, embedded finance, BNPL, digital wallets, AI-driven fraud prevention) and assess their relevance to the company's ecosystem.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with banks, payment providers, fintech startups, and regulatory bodies to strengthen the company's financial infrastructure.
- Support business expansion initiatives by enabling new financial products and services for merchants and customers (e.g., faster settlements, flexible payment options, and value-added financial tools).
Qualifications
- 10 - 12 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Fintech, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
