Responsibilities

  • Oversee the integration of avionics subsystems (communication, navigation, sensors, radar, etc.) into the stealth UAV platform.
  • Ensure that avionics systems operate optimally and meet operational and stealth performance requirements.
  • Lead the testing and validation of avionics integration, identifying and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure avionics systems are properly integrated with other subsystems, particularly for stealth considerations.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in avionics system integration, with at least 3-5 years focused on UAVs or military avionics systems.
  • Training: Certification in avionic integration, integration and testing methodologies, payload systems and aerospace standards, familiarity with system-level troubleshooting, or software/hardware interfaces for complex systems.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of avionics systems (communication, navigation, radar, flight control systems) for UAVs. Experience with stealth avionics design principles and electromagnetic interference (EMI) management. Familiarity with RF testing and signal integrity in stealth environments.
