The Flight Operations Engineer provides flight operations technical support to the fleet and flight crew, focusing on aircraft takeoff, en-route, and landing performance. This role involves ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements while promoting safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations of the fleet in accordance with regulations. The responsibilities encompass various aspects of flight operations, including aircraft documentation, weight & balance, airport suitability evaluation, configuration assessment, and performance monitoring.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
- Administration of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) aircraft performance tools and applications.
- Aircraft performance monitoring and analysis.
- Airport suitability evaluation assessment and crew briefings.
- En-route study, decompression, and drift down procedures analysis.
- Tracking of Airworthiness Directives (AD), Service Bulletins (SB), and Engineering Orders (EO).
- Aircraft modification and configuration.
- Aircraft weight and balance administration.
- Management of aircraft and company Operations Manual Part A, B, and C including the Minimum Equipment List (MEL)/Configuration Deviation (CDL).
- Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) administration.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering.
- Five years’ experience in airline flight operations preferred.
- Good knowledge of regulations applicable to aircraft performance.
- Experience in using manufacturer flight operations engineering programs.
- Experience with Electronic Flight Bag (EFB).
