We are excited to invite experienced Simulator Engineers to join our team, based in Abu Dhabi, overseeing a suite of Full Flight Simulators (FFS). In this dynamic role, you'll play a key part in ensuring smooth, efficient, and top-quality operations at our training center. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all technical and operational aspects of the Flight Simulator Training Devices and Cabin Crew Training Devices as applicable.
  • Attend flight crew and maintenance calls, perform daily readiness checks, support flyouts, and conduct scheduled preventative maintenance.
  • Identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex training device issues and AOGs.
  • Seek and implement permanent solutions for recurring issues and improve maintenance procedures.
  • Provide on-the-job technical training to other technicians through coaching and mentoring.
  • Collaborate on complex issues requiring extensive testing, troubleshooting, research, and design.
  • Maintain and support the FSTD operations Management System, including the implementation and adoption of necessary processes and procedures.
  • Perform minor updates of Nav DB, Terr DB, OIS & EFB Charts, Documents, and Perf Data, as well as IOS Lesson Plan uploads.
  • Manage consumable items and tools required for PMTs and Daily Readiness.
  • Support logistics duties, including yearly inventories and shipping preparations.
  • Pursue knowledge to become a technical expert in one or more simulator systems (e.g., Visual, Motion, Flight Controls).

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Technical College Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Aviation Field.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience with flight simulators.
  • Excellent command of the English language (read, spoken, and written).
  • Highly customer-oriented with the ability to maintain effective relationships.
  • Skilled in computer architecture, networking, operating systems, and programming languages, with the ability to make minor software changes.
  • Proficient technical background (Hardware and Software) and familiarity with Flight Simulator issues, specifically: motion, visual, avionics, aircraft systems, etc.
  • Knowledge of various aircraft types, including commercial jetliners.
  • Understanding of Commercial Aviation training and local & International regulations (EASA, UAE DGCA, etc.) related to FSTDs.
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
