FM Manager - Technical

About the Job:

The FM Manager - Technical position is an on-site, full-time role located in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will develop and implement operational strategies that align with the organizational objectives while participating in business development activities such as lead generation and tender preparation. This role encompasses managing the complete project lifecycle, establishing performance targets, monitoring departmental performance through KPIs, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day Hard FM operations across multiple contracts and facilities, ensuring efficient deployment of resources.
• Implement various maintenance programs including Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance, and monitor the reliability of building assets.
• Prepare and manage budgets, monitor operational expenditure, and analyze contract profitability.
• Lead engineering and maintenance teams, promoting teamwork and professional development while managing subcontractors.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, responding promptly to all service requests and concerns.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to proposals to support growth initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ regulations and promote a safety-focused work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Facility Management; Master's Degree is an advantage.
• Required 8–12 years of experience in Facility Management with at least 5 years in a managerial role in Hard FM operations, coupled with strong knowledge of UAE FM practices.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies:

• Proficient in Hard FM Operations, MEP Systems, HVAC Systems, and budget control.
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, customer focus, and effective communication skills.
