Key Accountability Areas
Responsibility:
- Supervise line crew(s) responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repairs of electric transmission systems.
- Evaluate crew performance and initiate training or corrective action as necessary to meet performance standards.
- Analyze operational methods and develop improved procedures.
- Establish and maintain electric line clearances with other utilities.
- Install equipment such as high-voltage connectors, transformers, switches in manholes and vaults, and secure various service lines, power poles, meters, and metering devices.
- Regularly report project status to supervisors, site engineers, and other officials.
Safety:
- Train, instruct, and mentor line workers to ensure adherence to safety rules and procedures.
