In the role of Forward-Deployed Data Scientist, you will be part of our expanding Field Data Scientist group, collaborating with customers to promote their success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with customer Analytics/BI teams and the company colleagues on implementations, including use case definition, data integration, pipeline setup, and ML model configuration.
- Extending product capabilities by improving architecture and developing reusable data pipelines, APIs, and components.
- Collaborating with the RL pipeline development team to enhance reinforcement learning algorithms.
- Contributing technical expertise to shape OfferFit’s product strategy and ensure successful adoption and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field required; Master’s or PhD preferred.
- Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or in a related role, particularly in customer-facing or consulting settings.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python (including Pandas) and core ML libraries (TensorFlow, Keras, scikit-learn, CatBoost, XGBoost); SQL skills for querying/manipulating datasets; experience in machine learning pipelines and model deployment.
- Engineering Practices: Ability to write well-structured, modular, documented code and follow strong development practices (Git, CI/CD).
- Communication: Comfortable working alongside clients and cross-functional teams; able to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
