As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping how enterprises harness the power of AI in real-world applications, bridging the company's core North product with clients' engineering teams to securely integrate AI into various sectors, including finance, healthcare, and telecommunications. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and ship features for North, Cohere's AI workspace platform.
- Develop autonomous agents that interact with sensitive enterprise data.
- Experiment at high velocity and maintain quality to deliver exceptional customer solutions.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization to production.
- Lead end-to-end deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises environments, including planning, configuration, testing, and rollout.
You May Be a Good Fit If You:
- Enjoy working directly with customers and have experience in that capacity.
- Have shipped Python applications in production.
- Have developed and deployed performant client-side or server-side RAG/agentic applications.
- Are experienced in deploying enterprise software in private/hybrid cloud environments.
- Possess strong coding abilities and can work across the stack.
- Have expertise in cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP), networking, and virtualization.
- Excel in fast-paced environments and can adapt to changing priorities.
