Forward Deployed Engineer

We’re looking for a highly accomplished and senior-level Forward Deployed Engineer with 5+ years of experience to lead the charge on complex AI agentic deployments. This role demands a seasoned technologist and strategic partner who can not only design and develop bespoke solutions leveraging our Agentforce platform and other cutting-edge technologies but also lead technical engagements and mentor junior peers. You'll be the primary driver of transformative AI solutions, operating with deep technical mastery, unparalleled problem-solving prowess, and a relentless focus on delivering tangible value in dynamic, real-world environments, from initial concept to successful deployment and ongoing optimization.

Your Impact

• Drive Tangible Outcomes through Hands-On Implementation: Be responsible for the end-to-end technical delivery of complex AI solutions, personally writing critical code, configuring systems, and troubleshooting issues, while also guiding and reviewing the work of junior team members.
• Build Transformative AI Solutions: Take primary ownership of designing, developing, and personally implementing high-quality, scalable production systems, including architecting and deploying complex AI and Large Language Model (LLM) based intelligent agents.
• Engineer Bespoke Agentic AI Solutions: Work directly with customers to design and build custom intelligent agents using the Agentforce platform, ensuring they meet unique business requirements.
• Data Configuration & Integration: Own the entire data lifecycle, from strategic design of data models to building efficient processing pipelines and establishing seamless integration strategies.
• Proactively Remove Technical Blockers: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical challenges during all phases of solution delivery.
• Drive Agentforce Innovation: Become an expert in the Agentforce platform, leading the development of bespoke intelligent agents and crafting intuitive user experiences.
• Become a Trusted Strategic Partner: Embed deeply with client teams to understand their operational challenges and strategic goals, translating these into clear, actionable technical requirements.
• Conduct Deep-Dive Technical Debugging and Root Cause Analysis: Perform analysis, debugging, and root cause identification for complex system interactions and AI model behaviors.
• Lead Rapid Prototyping and Iteration: Quickly develop proofs-of-concept and minimum viable products alongside client teams to demonstrate capabilities.
• Implement and Enforce Best Practices: Apply and evangelize engineering best practices for code quality, scalability, and maintainability across all deployed solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a hands-on, end-to-end delivery role for scalable production solutions.
• Strong background in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
• Expert-level proficiency in one or more programming languages (JavaScript, Java, Python, Apex).
• Extensive hands-on experience with AI/LLM technologies and associated frameworks.
• Deep expertise in data modeling, processing, integration, and analytics.
• Significant experience with the Salesforce platform, including advanced configuration and customization.
• Demonstrated entrepreneurship and a focus on impactful delivery, with a proven ability to lead technical initiatives.
• Exceptional collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to lead technical engagements and mentor junior team members.
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and/or Agentforce platform.
• Experience developing conversational AI solutions within regulated industries.
• Expert-level experience with Apex and/or Python.
• Prior experience in a customer-facing, hands-on technical lead or architect role.
• Advanced Salesforce platform certifications (Platform Developer II, Application Architect, System Architect).
• Deep knowledge across Salesforce CRM (Service, Sales, and Marketing Clouds).
• Extensive experience with Salesforce Flows and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience contributing to open-source AI frameworks or libraries.
