This hands-on position entails single-threaded ownership of a genuine aviation outcome, working closely with a Business Product Owner and an AI Value Architect on a shared platform that enables your squad to self-serve against customer systems.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Begin every project by understanding the business requirements and work directly with stakeholders to develop solutions from discovery to production.
- Design, develop, and continuously enhance enterprise-grade agentic AI applications for real aviation scenarios.
- Construct agents capable of reasoning across various steps, managing context, handling exceptions, and supporting human interaction reliably and at scale.
- Design and implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and build integrations connecting agents to backend systems with secure authentication.
- Ensure quality of code from inception, incorporating testing, observability, and feedback loops for reliability.
- Maintain security, privacy, and governance throughout all deployments.
- Establish and oversee the technical standards and direction for the squad's AI work.
Education & Experience:
- Ideally, 8+ years in building production-grade software, including 4+ years in Generative AI (GenAI), LLMs, and applied machine learning, plus at least 1 year of experience with agentic AI.
- Hands-on experience of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and strong proficiency in Python, with knowledge of a secondary language (TypeScript, Java, or C#).
- Experience with agent frameworks, enterprise AI platforms, and vector databases/search platforms.
- Background in integrating enterprise systems, cloud deployment, and understanding security and governance in AI solutions.
- Preferred qualifications include expertise in aviation, experience with complex workflows, and leadership in external AI platform delivery.
Language Requirements:
- Fluent in English and comfortable in a culturally diverse, international team.
Growth Path:
- Potential progression to the role of AI Value Architect, which entails overseeing a value journey while continuing hands-on development.
