Forward Deployment Engineer

About the Job:
At the company, we're building AI capability from the ground up. We design, build, deploy, and run AI systems ourselves. As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you'll be embedded directly within the business, working closely with stakeholders to understand not just the problem, but the "why" behind it. You'll take ownership of real aviation outcomes, designing and delivering enterprise-grade Agentic AI solutions from concept to production.

You'll collaborate with a Business Product Owner and an AI Value Architect, leveraging the company's AI platform, MCP fabric, and engineering standards to rapidly build scalable, secure, and impactful AI applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the business need and craft solutions from discovery to production.
• Design, build, deploy, and enhance enterprise-grade agentic AI applications for aviation scenarios using agentic coding.
• Implement RAG pipelines over enterprise knowledge, including data ingestion and retrieval tuning.
• Develop MCP-based integrations, ensuring secure connectivity with backend systems.
• Manage quality, testing, observability, and governance throughout all deployments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and maintain a focus on enterprise-scale reliability and performance.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field; relevant certifications are advantageous.
• Around 3 years of experience in building production-grade software with GenAI and LLMs, with at least 1 year focusing on agentic AI.
• Proficient in Python, with knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and engineering practices such as async programming and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks, enterprise AI platforms, and vector databases is preferred.
• Experience in integrating enterprise systems and deploying on cloud environments.

Language Requirements:

• Fluent in English, comfortable working within a culturally diverse, international team.
