The opportunity lies in the role of a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), acting as a key player in the WorkOS mission. The FDE will work directly with customers to understand and solve operational challenges through AI-driven solutions, functioning at the intersection of technical engineering and customer needs.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead the deployment of WorkOS, architecting AI-driven solutions for customers’ operational challenges.
- Build, iterate, and ship high-quality, full-stack code to enhance platform capabilities.
- Act as the technical face of WorkOS, winning stakeholder trust and navigating enterprise hierarchies.
- Translate real-world insights into product requirements to ensure ongoing utility of WorkOS.
- Adapt to various technical tasks ranging from debugging to designing custom dashboards.
What You’ll Need:
- 5–8+ years of engineering experience, ideally in fast-paced, mission-driven environments.
- A background in forward-deployed roles (e.g., at Palantir or high-growth startups).
- Proficiency in modern tech stacks (React/TS, Python/Node) and familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.
- Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
- A strong sense of ownership and a bias for action.
