KATIM is a leader in the development of innovative secure communication products and solutions for governments and businesses. In this role as FPGA- Platform Services, you will learn to design and test FPGA-based platform components under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn VHDL/Verilog coding through small modules and assist with synthesising and simulating RTL code.
• Develop simple test benches and run simulations to validate designs under supervision.
• Support integration of IP cores and assist with lab testing and debugging; observe how senior engineers perform static timing analysis and resolve timing issues.
• Maintain documentation of design changes and testing procedures.
• Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and design standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
• Course work in digital logic design and hardware description languages; lab experience using FPGA development boards.
• Familiarity with Linux and scripting for build automation is a plus.
