The company is looking for an amazingly talented FPS-117 Radar Engineer to join our team! You will support the RSAF Officer-in-Charge by actively advising and assisting in all aspects of his specialty, continuously monitoring all RSAF training in your specialty and recommending improvements, training RSAF Engineering Officers and Warrant Officers in both practical and theoretical aspects, producing adequate engineering training material in your specialty, and performing intermediate level maintenance in your specialty as required.

Required Skills:

  • BS degree with typically 10+ years of related professional experience.
  • A minimum of 10+ years’ experience with a variety of surveillance Radars, including FPS-117.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge and experience with FPS-117 Radar operation & maintenance.
  • Experience should include installation, testing, integration, upgrades, and modifications to FPS-117 Radars.
  • Overall radar experience must include Air Defense Ground Radar, Primary/Secondary, all aspects of 3-dimensional Radar plot extractors, Height Computers, and interface equipment.
  • Technical know-how must include Antennas, Processors, computers, monitoring, data transmission, plot extractors, power systems, and other subsystems associated with FPS-117 Radars.
  • Specific experience with the FPS-117 is required, including at least three (3) years in developing and/or maintaining the FPS-117 Radar System.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience supporting Mobile Maintenance Team (MMT) functions and traveling to remote radar sites for specialized maintenance, troubleshooting, and training.
