Position

We have an immediate job opportunity for the Fraud Analyst position. The Fraud Analyst will leverage advanced analytics to detect fraud patterns, collaborate with internal fraud risk and operations teams, and define strategies to implement effective rules to prevent fraud losses. This role requires strong expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics, along with the ability to turn fraud insights into strategic actions for fraud risk functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced analytics and data science to detect and analyze fraud patterns.
  • Collaborate with fraud risk and operations teams to develop strategies for fraud prevention.
  • Provide thought leadership on effective rule management to minimize complexities in fraud monitoring tools.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with fraud monitoring platforms, rule engines, and anomaly detection systems.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data querying, analysis, and automation.
  • Experience in handling large datasets, data cleansing, feature engineering, and building fraud risk models.
  • Skilled in using visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI to present insights clearly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively under pressure.
  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
