About the Job:
The company has an immediate opening for a Fraud Analyst. In this role, the Fraud Analyst is responsible for utilizing analytics, particularly advanced analytics, to detect fraud patterns and insights, which will be transformed into strategies for both acquiring and issuing fraud risk functions. This position requires collaboration with internal fraud risk and operations teams, as well as clients, to define and implement strategies that prevent fraud losses.

Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
Job Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Experience Required: 6 to 14 Years
Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage advanced analytics and data science expertise, including statistical modeling and machine learning.
  • Work on fraud insights to formulate strategies for managing fraud risk.
  • Collaborate with teams on effective rule management to minimize complexities surrounding fraud monitoring tools.

Required Skills:

  • Fraud Analytics Tools: Experience with fraud monitoring platforms, rule engines, and anomaly detection systems.
  • Data Management: Capability in handling large datasets, data cleansing, feature engineering, and building fraud risk models.
  • SQL & Programming: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for querying, analysis, and automation.
  • Visualisation & Reporting: Skilled in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar for presenting fraud insights clearly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
