Fraud Monitoring Agent

The Fraud Monitoring Agent will be responsible for monitoring alerts triggered in the fraud management system on a daily basis and deciding on the necessary actions, which may include blocking cards, placing temporary holds to verify transaction authenticity, and escalating cases.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alerts triggered in the fraud management system on a daily basis and decide on the necessary actions, which may include blocking cards and placing temporary holds to verify transaction authenticity.
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) after blocking any card or to confirm suspected transactions and coordinate with the company fraud department when card replacement is needed.
• Perform record keeping of confirmed fraud and preparation of reports on fraud trends, patterns, and losses.
• Coordinate with the company fraud department for regular fraud rule enhancements to be introduced in the fraud management system in attempts to have a more efficient and effective monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or equivalent field of studies.
• Experience in fraud monitoring and analysis is a plus, preferably if related to card payments (issuing and acquiring).
• Accuracy and a keen eye for details.
• Acknowledgement and compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Good communication skills in English and Arabic language.
