Responsibilities
- Analyze data and performance metrics to make informed decisions, track progress, and optimize program outcomes.
- Build dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for ongoing projects.
- Continuously assess and enhance operational processes, identifying areas for improvement and increased efficiency.
- Manage program budgets, including cost forecasting and expense control.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on program progress, key performance indicators, and financial results.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions that enhance the food delivery business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product, tech, logistics, commercial, and customer support to ensure alignment and successful execution.
- Work with local stakeholders to identify operational blockers, and engage with central teams and other internal stakeholders to drive improvements in overall operational performance.
- Own and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for new initiatives or enhancements, providing regular updates to internal teams for better visibility and impact.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the Division’s ABCs and OKRs, ensuring alignment with other function heads.
- Measure and track relevant OKRs and metrics to ensure goal achievement and take corrective actions when needed.
- Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes to carry out daily work in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices to enhance effectiveness.
- Uphold a high-performance work environment and promote HungerStation Values, serving as a role model for peers.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of operational experience in the e-commerce or food/tech industry, with at least 2 years in a senior-level role.
- Proven problem-solving abilities, with strong skills in hypothesis formulation and solution design.
- Proficient in data analytics, with hands-on experience using tools like Tableau and Looker Studio considered an advantage.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience in building and optimizing operational processes across the end-to-end journey.
- Solid background in project management, with a clear understanding of prioritization and the importance of meeting deadlines.
- A sharp product mindset, with the ability to deeply understand our ecosystem and collaborate effectively with Product teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, motivate peers, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Prior experience in addressing user fraud is a strong plus.
- Arabic speaker is preferred.
