About the Role
Linguists are key players in the translation process. Your particular language skill and subject matter expertise will allow you to create and finalize the end product before it goes to the client. Under the guidance of your manager and in collaboration with Project Managers, you will be responsible for translating and proofreading documents pertaining to a variety of clients in the Investment Banking sectors. This role offers the possibility to work remotely from anywhere in the world.

Responsibilities
- Translate documents from English into Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), particularly in the LS-Clinical-Legal field.
- Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure accuracy and adherence to client specifications.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all tasks.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan).
- Specialized knowledge in relevant fields, particularly LS-Clinical-Legal.
- Acute attention to detail, spelling, and grammar.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines.
- Applicants from the Asian time zone are preferred.
Requirements
Candidates must fulfill any ONE of the following:
- A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training from a recognized institution of higher education;
- 2 years of translation experience and a college degree;
- 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or
- A certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body.
