About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Senior Marketing Manager to support the development and delivery of integrated marketing activity across the Middle East and Asia. Working closely with our Dubai-based marketing team and colleagues across our wider global business, you’ll lead marketing activity for tournaments and initiatives, helping to drive audience growth, fan engagement, ticket sales, brand awareness, and commercial value. This is a senior, hands-on assignment for someone who can quickly get up to speed, operate independently, and confidently manage multiple projects, agencies, and stakeholders.

What You’ll Deliver
You’ll take the lead across a range of regional and tournament marketing activity, including:
- Developing and delivering regional and tournament marketing plans
- Creating campaign briefs, plans, and delivery schedules
- Driving audience growth, fan engagement, and ticket-sales activity
- Leading external agencies, including briefs, budgets, and performance
- Overseeing integrated campaigns across digital, paid media, CRM, content, partnerships, PR, and influencer activity
- Managing campaign budgets, forecasting, and reconciliation
- Tracking marketing performance, ROI, and campaign effectiveness
- Providing post-campaign reporting, insights, and recommendations
- Managing multiple marketing workstreams across the region
- Providing clear stakeholder updates and senior-management reporting
- Supporting and overseeing the regional tournament marketing team, including potential line management of 2–3 Marketing Managers
What We’re Looking For
You’ll ideally bring:
- 8+ years' marketing experience, with strong experience in the UAE and/or wider Middle East region
- Proven experience delivering major sport, events, entertainment, or consumer marketing campaigns
- Strong knowledge of the UAE and regional marketing landscape
- Experience managing significant marketing budgets and multiple agencies
- A track record of delivering measurable audience growth, ticket sales, or commercial results
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders, sponsors, rights holders, and government entities
- Strong project management and self-management skills, with the ability to work independently
- Experience working with teams and stakeholders remotely across different markets
- Previous team or line management experience
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Arabic language capability would be advantageous

Engagement Details

- This is a freelance/independent contractor assignment
- It is not a permanent or fixed-term employment position
- You must already be based in the UAE
- You must have the appropriate visa, right to work, and legal status to undertake the assignment independently
- You must be able to invoice for your services, either through your own registered business or as an appropriately established self-employed contractor
- The engagement will be managed on a supplier/contractor basis
- Availability from November 2026 onwards is required, with candidates available to start quickly particularly welcome
