About the Role
Linguists are essential contributors in facilitating communication and translation for clients, particularly in the Investment Banking sector. This role involves translating and proofreading documents, ensuring high-quality deliverables before they reach the client. You will work closely with your manager and project managers, with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the world.
Currently, there is a need to expand the freelance database for linguists who can translate the following:
- From Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) into English for Investment Banking - Market Commentary

Responsibilities
- Translate and proofread documents for various clients in the Investment Banking sector.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, spelling, and grammar in translations.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, especially under tight deadlines.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan).
- Specialized knowledge in Investment Banking or related fields.
- Acute attention to detail, particularly with spelling and grammar.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Preference for candidates in the Asian time zone.

Requirements
Candidates must fulfill at least one of the following:
- A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies or equivalent degree with significant translation training from a recognized institution.
- 2 years of translation experience with a college degree.
- 5 years of translation experience without a college degree.
- A certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body.
