Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on small, well-scoped frontend tasks using modern frameworks (e.g., React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS).
- Work with a senior engineer on implementing and shipping UI features.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups.
- Learn and apply our codebase practices, CI/CD workflows, and design systems.
- Escalate blockers, ask clarifying questions, and continuously seek feedback.
- Own 1–2 day stories and contribute to features under supervision.
- Help maintain the UI during team members’ absences (e.g., vacations).
- Contribute to internal documentation and reusable frontend components.
Qualifications:
- Recent graduate or early-career engineer (0–1 year of full-time experience).
- Must-have foundational skills: JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, React.js basics.
- Eagerness to learn frontend engineering best practices and testing.
- Familiarity with Git and basic terminal/CLI usage.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Proactive, takes initiative, and is open to feedback.
- Excited to grow in a mentored environment.
Nice to Have (but not required):
- Experience with TypeScript, React Hooks, component libraries like TailwindCSS.
- Exposure to frontend testing tools (Jest, Testing Library).
