In this dynamic role, you will join the transaction diligence team as a Senior Associate, collaborating closely with some of the world's largest organizations and private equity funds. Your involvement will span across advising clients throughout the diligence lifecycle on key value drivers while working to minimize risks and uncertainty inherent in transactions. Key Responsibilities
In your role as a Senior Associate, your key focus will include:

  • Analyzing historical financial data
  • Identifying key trends influencing business performance
  • Assisting in drafting reports outlining findings and recommendations related to financial and business issues in transactions
  • Identifying innovative methods to leverage our global delivery services team and new technologies to enhance client service

Skills and Attributes for Success
You will participate in due diligence engagements related to both acquisitions and divestments involving private equity groups and strategic corporate players. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Analyzing financial/operational results of targets through operational accounting records and management interviews
  • Identifying and assessing potential EBITDA adjustments and preparing normalized EBITDA schedules
  • Recognizing and quantifying GAAP issues in relation to target valuation
  • Preparing and evaluating pro forma financial information
  • Analyzing carve-out issues pertinent to buy-side or sell-side projects
  • Identifying issues affecting purchase price reductions, deal structuring, or termination
  • Outlining post-acquisition/divestiture action steps
  • Evaluating seasonal impacts on cash flow requirements
  • Conducting industry and company research

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

  • A bachelor's or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline with at least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to distill complex datasets into actionable insights
  • Organizational skills to effectively prioritize projects and adapt quickly to new challenges
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication capabilities
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% on short notice
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

  • A keen interest in financial due diligence roles or related services for financial services and private equity clients, demonstrated through relevant experience
  • Background gained in a large professional services organization or public accounting experience, including internships
  • Progress towards a recognized accounting (CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA) or finance (CFA) designation
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Established networking skills within a relevant industry
