FSTD Support Engineer I-EN

Support the Flight Simulator Training Devices and Other Training Devices by performing various duties including attending maintenance calls, setting up devices, assisting during simulator flight tests, and facilitating snag clearance activities. Responsibilities include independently performing Preventive Maintenance Tasks (PMTs), Daily Readiness (DR), Recurrent QTG runs, Aircraft Database (ADB) updates, and IOS Lesson Plan (LP) updates on training devices and associated systems. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate records, conducting low-level troubleshooting using schematics and documentation, and monitoring SimHub/Simissues.

You may also serve as a Device Caretaker, Task Caretaker, or lead for other training devices, while creating and improving procedures for routine tasks and participating in the On-the-Job Training (OJT) of FSTD Support Apprentices. Logistical duties like yearly inventories, store rearrangements, and shipping preparations will be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, performing administrative functions in compliance with local and global CAE Environmental Health & Safety standards and exercising a duty of care for health and safety for oneself and others are essential aspects of this position.
