FSTD Support Engineer II

As a FSTD Support Engineer II, you will be responsible for supporting Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTDs) and other training devices. Your duties will include attending maintenance calls, device setup, conducting simulator flight tests, and supporting snag clearance activities. You will independently perform preventive maintenance tasks, daily readiness checks, and updates to aircraft databases and lesson plans, ensuring compliance with all standards.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve training device issues, including addressing hardware refurbishments and modifications. Additionally, you may take on roles such as Shift Lead or Team Lead, overseeing maintenance tasks and improving procedures. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring junior colleagues and complying with local and global environmental health and safety standards.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Supporting flight simulator training device setup and maintenance.
• Performing preventive maintenance and daily readiness tasks.
• Diagnosing and resolving training device issues.
• Managing maintenance tasks and ensuring compliance with KPIs.
• Collaborating with technical specialists and participating in internal/external audits.
• Mentoring junior staff and providing on-the-job training.
