Work Conditions
- This unaccompanied position will be onsite in Doha, Qatar for a long-term international assignment.
- You will work as a member of a team that provides 24/7 support, with shifts that can vary (no standard work week).
- Occasionally, you may need to work extended hours on short notice to meet customer needs.
What You Will Do
- Implement, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade systems hardware and software configurations, including working with Windows Based Active Directory Domains, VMWare, Video Surveillance Software, Cisco Switches/Routers, and Video over IP (Multicast and Unicast-based).
- Ensure total operational and functional compatibility with interfacing/interacting systems, subsystems, equipment, and computer applications.
- Provide system demos and briefings to government stakeholders as required, produce daily situational reports (SITREPs), participate in status calls, and attend necessary meetings.
- Support the on-the-job training of additional O&M personnel, contractors, and military personnel.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
- Experience with systems/network management (multicast/unicast) and cross-domain network solutions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft systems administration and VMWare.
- Experience with Encryptor devices (TACLANE/KG) and interfacing with Air Force military customers.
- Possession of one or more Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications such as Microsoft MCSA/MCSE 2003/2008/2012, MCITP, Cisco CCENT, CCNA, or CCNP.
- Knowledge of DoD/DISA network security requirements and Information Assurance procedures.
- Must meet DoD 8570.01 baseline certification requirements for IAT Level II.
- An active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI access.
- Experience building and deploying Windows-based products such as Windows Server 2019/2022.
- Proficiency with MS PowerShell and VBScript.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills, along with the ability to deliver effective presentations for program situational reports (SITREPs), briefings, and demonstrations.
