As a Full Stack Data Engineer Intern, you will extract data from publicly available internet websites and store it in a structured format for analysis and market intelligence, leveraging our existing Big Data infrastructure. You will have the chance to work in a modern cloud-based data warehousing environment while learning from a diverse and talented team of engineers in the region.
Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Contract (6 months duration)
Requirements:
- BSc in Computer Science or a related field
- Knowledge of Version Control systems such as GIT with CI/CD
- Familiarity with terminal operations and Linux workflows
- Ability to manipulate and visualize data using SQL, Excel, or data visualization tools like Tableau
- Proficient in data modeling
- Knowledge in SQL and Python
- Understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Familiarity with DBMS technology, including MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Basic knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JS)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
