Full Stack Data Engineer - Intern

Bayut & dubizzle, the Arab World's only homegrown unicorn business, is inviting applications for a 6-month internship in our Business Intelligence department. As a Full Stack Data Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for extracting data from publicly available internet websites and storing it in a structured format for analysis and market intelligence, leveraging the existing Big Data infrastructure. You'll work in a modern cloud-based data warehousing environment and learn from a talented team of engineers in the region.

Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (On-site)

Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science or a related field
• Knowledge of version control systems such as GIT with CI/CD
• Knowledge of terminal operations and Linux workflows
• Ability to manipulate and visualize data using SQL, Excel, or data visualization tools such as Tableau
• Good knowledge of data modeling
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Familiarity with DBMS technology, including MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Basic knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JS)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
