What You'll Do:
- Lead the design and implementation of high-quality software solutions across both front-end and back-end layers.
- Architect scalable and robust systems while ensuring optimal performance and maintainability.
- Develop and maintain complex web applications using Python or GO, React, and TypeScript, applying best practices in modern software development.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and other backend services that ensure scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components.
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality, share knowledge, and mentor junior team members.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of the code and deployment process, promoting clear understanding across the team.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for smooth user experiences.
- Take ownership of the deployment process, monitor live systems, and troubleshoot production issues when needed.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster an environment of knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer or similar role.
- Proven expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Strong proficiency in Python or GO and experience building robust, scalable systems.
- Solid experience with front-end frameworks, particularly React and TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and RESTful API design.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative team culture.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Understanding of security best practices and experience securing web applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
