What Will You Be Doing?
In this role, you will not be developing traditional web or mobile applications. We are looking for innovative and ambitious software engineers ready to take on unique challenges. Your responsibilities will include working with cloud-based backends, modern frontends, and an IoT ecosystem alongside a variety of hardware.
Key tasks will include:
- Developing backend services and APIs on the Azure cloud platform using Node.js.
- Implementing new user-facing UI features using React.
- Collaborating with IoT devices and other hardware components.
- Building reusable platform components, tools, and libraries.
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers.
- Coordinating development efforts with colleagues and customer tech teams while adhering to DevOps principles.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Experience in a similar role with hands-on experience in both backend and frontend development.
- Proficiency in Node.js, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with cloud services, particularly the Azure cloud platform.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and engage in technical discussions with clients.
- Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English; comfort in working with non-native speakers is essential.
- A self-starter attitude, enjoying responsibility and accountability in your role.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, we would love candidates who also possess:
- An interest in IoT and hardware technologies.
- Experience in product-oriented companies.
