We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer to help the QVAC application teams develop, review, test, and deliver reliable software with less friction. Your focus will be on our desktop and mobile applications, their shared runtime, AI harness, and skills packages. You will build and maintain developer tools, integrate AI agents into engineering workflows, and improve code quality and delivery automation.

This is a hands-on engineering role with room to shape the tooling roadmap. You will work with engineers to identify useful improvements and own them from implementation through adoption and ongoing support. Success means shorter feedback loops, dependable automation, and tools that developers trust and use.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, integrate, and maintain developer tools and AI agents, including the repository guidance and integrations needed for effective functionality.
- Build and operate agents in CI and scheduled workflows that investigate failures, propose fixes, and provide actionable evidence for engineers.
- Improve automated pull request reviews, focusing on finding accuracy and reducing noise for reviewers.
- Develop code quality scripts and checks concerning complexity, function and file size, dependency cycles, and performance regressions, collaborating with package owners to establish practical thresholds and targeted refactoring.
- Enhance development environments and build and release workflows to ensure reliable change verification for engineers and agents.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize improvements, support adoption through documentation and onboarding, and measure effectiveness, reliability, and operating costs.
Example projects include agents that investigate CI failures, diagnose compatibility and performance regressions, and flag changes impacting package interfaces or architecture. You will choose and refine workflows in collaboration with the engineers who utilize them.
Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining developer tools or engineering automation with strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js skills.
- Hands-on experience using and integrating AI coding tools or agents, demonstrating sound judgment regarding their limitations, output validation, and necessary human review.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and systematic debugging of build, test, or integration failures.
- A strong commitment to code quality: maintainable code, useful automated checks, and refactoring that preserves behavior.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with engineers, and communicate clearly in English within a remote, globally distributed team.
