Job Description:
The Senior Developer will be responsible for developing functionalities for the Healthcare Core System and Portals used for Employee Benefits and Personal Lines. You will collaborate with Team Leads in the Health & Life IT Platforms to design and deliver developments for the functional evolution of the platforms while guiding Junior Developers.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Team Lead on planning development deliveries considering interdependencies within the Healthcare Core System & Portals.
- Propose effective and efficient software development solutions that align with Architecture, Information Security, and Data Privacy requirements.
- Provide estimates for development tasks and ensure reusability of newly developed codes.
- Ensure developments meet Architecture and Information Security best practices.
- Train other team members based on requests from Team Lead.
- Update the status of development tasks in JIRA timely.
- Develop programs from specifications, test and implement programs assigned by the Team Leads.
- Document program development and revisions and promote sustainable software development practices.
- Secure Unit and Automated Testing definition and execution.
- Perform research to identify program problems and develop solutions.
Profile / Requirements:
- Sound knowledge of the insurance/healthcare insurance domain; knowledge of the Functional Area of Finance is ideal.
- Strong experience in architecting, implementing, and managing high-performance scalable applications on Linux/Windows platforms.
- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework.
- Excellent knowledge of architecture/design patterns, Object-Oriented Design methodologies, SOA, data modeling techniques, REST, and SOAP.
- Profound insight into .Net internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc.).
- Considerable knowledge of structured programming techniques and the ability to test application programming.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
Technical Skills:
- .Net 4.5 and later, .Net Core 3+, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework.
- Angular 6+ and Angular development.
- Web APIs and any NoSQL Database, SQL Server 2016+.
