In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the functional aspects of a Core Banking (FLEXCUBE) implementation and ensuring successful execution across all phases of the program. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technology solutions that meet the bank’s functional business requirements.
- Lead and support various implementation phases including Product Walkthroughs, Scope Studies, Product Parameterization, Testing, UAT triaging, Business Simulation, and Production Rollout.
- Identify functional gaps and prepare/review Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and Test Plans.
- Manage the Core Production Implementation function within SLA, schedule, budget, and scope.
- Oversee quality and compliance controls throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the transformation of the bank’s Core Banking system to the next version.
Key Result Areas:
- Lead a diversified team (onsite/offshore/outsourced) delivering functional aspects of the FLEXCUBE Core Banking application.
- Oversee Business Analysts involved in the implementation to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Participate in Product Walkthroughs and training sessions.
- Review and align business requirements with existing and proposed systems; recommend optimal solutions.
- Conduct impact analysis for functional changes to existing systems.
- Manage solution documentation including System Requirement Specifications (SRS).
- Guide development teams by clarifying banking concepts and validating developed functionalities.
- Oversee issue resolution and maintain strong functional relationships with development teams.
- Manage end-to-end implementation at bank sites: Scope Study, Gap Analysis, Parameterization, Training, Test Plans, Issue Triaging, and Business Simulation.
- Ensure smooth production cutover and verify production transfer documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 11+ years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst in Core Banking.
- Strong experience with FLEXCUBE.
- Proven track record in large-scale Core Banking transformations.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams across locations.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time, 6 months extendable
